Incorrect Low Disk Space Alert |
|
Windows can incorrectly report a USB hard drive has 0MB of free space. This can be fixed by changing the alert in Health Monitor:
1. Open Health Monitor (Start | All Programs | Administrator Tools) 2. Expand to: Servername\Small Business Server Alerts\Core Server Alerts 3. Right-click the Low Disk Space alert 4. Select Properties 5. Click on the Details page 6. Click on the instance Browse button 7. Select the first drive to monitor (eg. C) 8. Choose OK Low Disk Space has now changed to LogicalDisk=C 9. Right click on LogicalDisk=C and choose Copy 10. Right-click on Core Server Alerts and choose Paste 11. Modify the copied item and browse for the next drive instance
Continue until all drives are added
